WEAR Sustain will continue the launch of its first Open Call for funding at a dedicated event on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April at Canodrom in Barcelona, co-hosted by Creative Ring.
Attendees on Thursday 20th April will be able to hear more from WEAR Consortium Partner Giannino Malossi from Blumine SRL, Milan. about the opportunities of WEAR Sustain for teams of artists, designers, technologists and engineers to develop compelling, ethical, innovative and sustainable solutions for wearable technology and e-textiles, before networking and a drinks reception.
On Friday 21st April leading experts in wearable technology and e-textiles will come together to discuss the latest developments in how to make wearable technologies and smart textiles ethical, sustainable and environmental. During the day the panellists and breakout groups will discuss issues and constraints around the life-cycle of design, innovation, development, manufacturing, distribution and waste management for wearable technologies and smart textiles and how to get around these.
